Pathways is a life skills programme for young adults with visual impairment, aged 18-23, who may also have additional support needs. The duration of the programme can be up to five years, depending on a person’s age when they enroll.

Pathways is a HSE funded day service that follows the guidelines of New Directions, and everything we do is informed by the four basic principles of New Directions; person-centeredness, community involvement, active citizenship and high-quality service provision.

Everyone is unique, so each person who attends Pathways follows an individualised schedule designed to help them to achieve the goals and aspirations they have identified.

We are based on the ChildVision campus in Drumcondra in Dublin, and we are open Monday to Friday. In addition to the day service we also have supported living houses in the local community.
